My passion is both photography and teaching photography. I love to learn and I hope you will too. My goal is to help you take better picture by just changing a few camera settings and knowing a couple of tried and true composition tricks! If you catch the photography bug, there is lots more after that to make your work even better.
Most of my life has been divided between teaching and photography: I have taught in middle school and most recently at a private girls school in Toronto, one year at OCAD in Toronto, workshops in Toronto and Mexico and private tutorials. My biggest thrill has been helping young women to find their passion in photography.
Photography blazed into my life after a BFA in art from York University, when I studied Photography at Ryerson University in Toronto and the International Center of Photography in New York. After fifteen years of commercial work I came back to my fine art photography and my love of teaching – now on a website.
